Now, downloading of Takuchan for the visually impared is under experiment.
The progam is acompanied with the voice in Japanese. Plese crick here Takuchan in English(Etaku3.lzh, 367KB) . 1. When you crick Saving(S), the program wii be downloaded into the designated folder, \program files\Etaku10 or \program dfiles\data\Etakau10. 2. In case of Etaku10.lzh, it will be expanded by Lha into Etaku10.zip in the same directory by cricking "Opening Folder (F)". And then, Etaku10.zip will be expanded by Lha into Etaku10.exe and many buttons by cricking "Opening Folder(F)". 3. Crick Taku3.exe. to play Takuchan in English.  Please crick here Takuchan in Japanese(WTAKU,EXE). 1. When you crick Saving(S), the program wii be downloaded into the designated folder, \program files\TAKUCHAN or \program dfiles\data\TAKUCHAN. 2. The downloaded file is WTAKU29.EXE in an oven. 3. If your PC has an expanding software, the file "WTAKU29.EXE" will be automatixally expanded. If it is not expanded, you must crick the oven file.@The folder to be expanded may be the same folder as the previous saving folder. Installing of "TAKUCHAN" 1. Prepartion for expanding and installing the program. @An expanding soft such as Lhaz or +Lhasa must be prepared in advance. A free soft is available from Vector. 2. The downloaded file is WTAKU29.EXE in an oven. @In case of Etaku10.lzh, it will be expanded to Etaku  3. The file "WTAKU29.EXE" will be automatixally expanded. If not, you must crick the oven file.  4. A directory for expanding shall be input. You may use the same directory as prepared for downloading. 5. The expanded program is shown in the designated directory.  6. The icon of TAKU(1,259KB) will appear in the expnaded program. A igo board is shown when you crick this icon. 7. The shortcut of TAKU can be shown on the desktop by sending the icon of "TAKU". How to Play TAKU You can hear the position of stones by cricking "sound bottun". You can make a game setting by cricking "set bottun". And start the game by putting a stone on the igo board. The software costs 5,985Yen including a tax. .The file size is 6.4MB. You are recommended to install the Braille software "Braille Editing System 4 for WindowsVista" in advance and open the downloaded Go textbook in braille.
